Carlos Grau, CEO of Mobile World Capital Barcelona, has received the visit of Josep Maria Bartomeu, president of Futbol Club Barcelona, in GSMA Mobile World Congress. During the visit, Bartomeu has known in first hand the MWCapital initiatives for promoting the digital transformation of society. The meeting shows once more the support of the key players of the city to 5GBarcelona and their shared commitment to position Barcelona as a laboratory to test 5G technologies.

The 5GBarcelona initiative driven by the Goverment of Catalonia, the City Council of Barcelona, Mobile World Capital Barcelona, i2CAT Foundation, the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC), Atos and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), will turn the city in a digital 5G hub with international reference.
